Key Responsibilities

  • •Apply sound engineering practices to scale, optimize, and improve molecular biology methods.
  • •Conduct experiments to identify, isolate, and confirm root causes of process errors in our high-throughput molecular biology lab.
  • •Develop methods to compile and analyze large amounts of process data to assess for process stability, trending, and areas for improvement.
  • •Develop and implement software tools to aid in efficient sample processing within the clinical laboratory.
  • •Develop, implement, and use software tools to quantitatively analyze process efficiency and sources of error, with moderate proficiency in R or Python.
