Job Function: Solutions Engineering & Sales Engineering

Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead technical onboarding and client implementations from requirements through a working Seqera Platform deployment across cloud, hybrid, and on-prem.
  • •Stand up the environment the platform runs in, including networking, DNS, TLS/certificates, private CAs, IAM/secrets, container runtimes, and pipeline storage.
  • •Work within client security and compliance constraints, guiding client IT changes whether access is full or limited.
  • •Build deployment tooling and automation with pre-flight checks, clear failures, tests, and documentation for non-experts.
  • •Partner with Sales and Scientific Development on pre-sales and proof-of-concept deployments; act as a senior escalation point and help convert recurring issues into lasting fixes.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong depth in at least one of AWS, Azure, or GCP, with multi-cloud expertise as an advantage.
  • •Confidence across networking, TLS/certificate management, IAM, and access control, including explaining it to non-experts.
  • •Terraform is required; familiarity with other IaC tools (e.g., CloudFormation, Pulumi, Ansible) is a plus.
  • •Hands-on containerization with Docker and Kubernetes (Helm is a plus).
  • •Comfort building tools in Python and Bash, with a focus on tests, scanning, and documentation.
