Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan, schedule, and coordinate barge audits to ensure operational efficiency and contractual compliance
  • •Ensure vessels engaged on projects are ready and compliant from a marine operations standpoint
  • •Inspect marine equipment and barge certificates and verify marine documentation is accurate, complete, and submitted on time
  • •Educate and train onboard personnel on maritime regulations, safety procedures, and company standards
  • •Monitor corrective actions and lessons learned to ensure timely closure and prevention of recurrence

Key Requirements

  • •Diploma in Nautical Science or equivalent maritime qualification
  • •Chief Officer COC (Certificate of Competency)
  • •ADNOC & ARAMCO approvals (preferable)
  • •8+ years’ experience in the oil & gas industry
  • •At least 2 years sailing time as Chief Officer
