Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform accurate measurement and quantity take-offs from drawings, specifications, BIM models, and other project information.
  • •Prepare and develop Bills of Quantities, schedules of quantities, and measurement documentation; maintain auditable measurement records.
  • •Support cost planning and estimating, including feasibility/order-of-cost estimates and updating cost plans through design development.
  • •Assist with tender and commercial support: review and analyze tender returns, identify anomalies, and support post-contract measurement, valuations, and variations.
  • •Use digital tools for measurement and cost management, validate quantities where appropriate, and contribute to continuous improvement of measurement processes.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
  • •Higher National Diploma (or Higher Diploma) or equivalent qualification.
  • •Minimum of 2 years of relevant industry experience.
  • •Experience with quantity surveying, measurement, or estimating (including measurement/quantity take-offs).
  • •Ability to work under the direction of Senior Project Surveyors and deliver accurate outputs within agreed timescales.
