Key Responsibilities

  • •Organize AP/EMEA project delivery for Global Payments Solutions IT in line with mission, goals, and benefits realization.
  • •Manage the project approach, build stakeholder buy-in, and balance scope, schedule, resourcing, dependencies, and communications.
  • •Monitor and report progress, issues, dependencies, and risks to global program management, internal stakeholders, and steering committees; make recommendations to maintain delivery momentum.
  • •Lead the development and operation of a program management office or project management practice, enforcing process discipline and continuous improvements (including disciplined agile software delivery and production support processes).
  • •Ensure governance and adherence to controls/frameworks, drive compliance and risk/security controls, and work with IT teams and Product Owner to improve productivity via backlog management and Agile (Scrum/Kanban/Lean).

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • •Minimum 5+ years of IT project/development/DevOps experience.
  • •In-depth understanding of Java/Python development and SQL, including Oracle and Redis/Hazelcast distributed cache systems, plus Linux.
  • •Strong CI/CD and delivery toolchain experience with Jenkins, Git, Jira/Confluence, Kubernetes, Docker/VM, and Kafka.
  • •Proven experience leading project management in an international financial institution, including work with globally dispersed teams and stakeholder collaboration.
