Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and develop busway and busplug assemblies, including CAD solid modeling, simulations, product specifications, drawing packages, and BOM/ECO creation.
  • •Support product testing and design validation, including prototype assembly/testing, analysis of test results, and recommending improvements.
  • •Participate in new product development and innovation activities (including DFMA assessments) and help execute design-to-industrialization work using ProLaunch and other tools.
  • •Assist in Voice of the Customer (VOC) product and market requirements research and support Maintenance of Line (MOL) and VAVE activities.
  • •Assist with equipment setup and electrical design tests at on-site labs, and support third-party certifications (UL, CSA, ISTA and other regulatory agencies).

Key Requirements

  • •Must be pursuing a bachelor's or master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or Engineering Technology from an accredited institution.
  • •Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher.
  • •Experience understanding phase gate project management tools and techniques.
  • •Knowledge using ERP systems and Voice of the Customer (VOC) experience.
  • •CAD solid modeling experience (CAD/SolidWorks/Inventor) and ability to create detailed 2D drawings with tolerance controls and manage engineering documents via ECO process.
