Key Responsibilities

•Develop and implement material management strategies, policies, and procedures to comply with regulations.
•Implement end-to-end inventory management measures (FIFO, variances, cycle time optimization, scrap/obsolescence, cycle/physical counting, audits) to ensure inventory accuracy and reduce stockouts/overstocking.
•Collaborate with procurement, production, manufacturing engineering, logistics, and quality on demand forecasting, procurement planning, and timely material delivery.
•Analyze material usage trends and implement lean practices to optimize material handling, storage, and distribution while improving critical metrics.
•Lead and develop the warehouse team, including hiring, training, guidance, performance feedback, and continuous improvement culture.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 86,000 - 112,000

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or equivalent experience.
•Willing and able to work 2nd shift (3pm to 11pm).
•5+ years of experience in material management, inventory control, or supply chain management roles in an aerospace and/or defense manufacturing environment.
•2+ years of experience managing a lead of supervisors, associates, or technicians.
•Ability to be onsite, local to Atlanta, GA.
