Key Responsibilities

  • •Monitor and follow up physical-chemical, environmental fate, and (eco)toxicological testing at CRO laboratories.
  • •Analyze and interpret chemical safety data for hazard classification aligned with global and domestic GHS standards (e.g., UN GHS).
  • •Collaborate with R&D teams to evaluate toxicological hazards and exposures linked to new chemistries and manufacturing processes.
  • •Compile and present toxicological and exposure data for APAC chemical registrations using tools such as CET.
  • •Provide risk assessment for health-related use applications of Huntsman products to support downstream use.

Key Requirements

  • •University degree in chemistry, biochemistry, environmental science, toxicology, or related field (higher degrees and/or prior industrial experience encouraged).
  • •Experience in analytical characterization/evaluation of complex substances such as UVCBs and polymers (plus).
  • •Experience preparing chemical registration dossiers (e.g., EU-REACH and APAC regulations) (plus).
  • •Experience conducting exposure modeling and risk assessments for China new chemical substances using tools such as CET (plus).
  • •Knowledge of global chemical regulations; familiarity with QSAR, chemical grouping, and cheminformatics tools is a plus.
