Job Summary

Cost Engineer role supporting major projects with cost performance reporting, Earned Value Management, and project controls. You’ll develop cost control data structures, set budgets, track expenditures, manage accruals and forecasts (ETC, EAC), and provide timely reporting to align with baselines across multiple project phases within Turner & Townsend’s infrastructure portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop of project cost control data structures to accurately track and control actual costs.
•Establishing and setting the project control budget aligned with agreed baselines.
•The tracking of actual costs both for internal and external expenditure against the cost controls structures.
•The tracking and control of project accruals and commitments against set budget constraints.
•The build of project forecast to include for estimated work to complete (ETC) and the development of the estimate at complete (EAC).

Key Requirements

•Qualified graduate in a relevant discipline with experience delivering cost engineering on major projects.
•CIMA qualification welcomed.
•Experience delivering cost engineering across major projects and full project lifecycle.
•Proficiency with cost management systems such as Prism and Ecosys and interfaces with SAP and Oracle.
•Ability to define project cost procedures and standards.
