Job Summary

Review and assess child endangerment incidents and escalations to ensure timely detection and removal of harmful content in compliance with regulations. Use child safety compliance research and crisis management expertise to investigate, report, and reduce psychological and physical risks. Partner with Legal, Policy, Product, and external agencies including NCMEC, conduct root-cause analyses, and produce reports to help prevent CSAM dissemination. Stay current on relevant laws and improve safety policies and processes.

Key Responsibilities

•Review and assess child endangerment incidents and escalations to ensure timely detection and removal of harmful content in compliance with regulations.
•Investigate, report, and reduce psychological and physical risks, threats, predatory behaviors, and user safety issues using child safety compliance and crisis management knowledge.
•Coordinate with Legal, Policy, Product & Process teams and external partners, including government agencies and NCMEC, to share best practices against CSAM.
•Conduct root cause analyses of potential content violations and priority escalations to measure compliance program effectiveness.
•Develop reports, advise stakeholders on preventing dissemination and consumption of abusive material, and recommend improvements to safety policies and processes.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 77,760 - 122,400 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Public Policy, Psychology, Sociology, Law, Risk Management, or a related field, plus 3 years of related work experience.
•1 year of experience in content moderation.
•1 year managing projects to identify safety risks on digital platforms, including areas such as gender-based violence, hate speech, bullying, online safety, or elections.
•1 year investigating and analyzing internet content safety, online abuse, risk management, trust & safety, or emergency response operations.
•1 year reviewing sensitive content and implementing removal workflow calibrations, including working with social media, analytical tools, and online research.
