Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical and operational leadership across a broad portfolio of enterprise hosting services, including compute, virtualization, storage, backup, database, middleware, and cloud infrastructure.
  • •Develop and execute technology roadmaps and modernization initiatives, improving hosting service delivery through continuous improvement.
  • •Provide direction and accountability to team leads, coordinating execution across siloed technology areas and resolving cross-team dependencies.
  • •Partner with program leadership and stakeholders to establish program technical direction, operating model, and culture supporting reliable hosting for application, data, and scientific missions.
  • •Manage team performance, including recruiting, coaching and mentoring leaders, performance management, and leading through technology and organizational change.

Key Requirements

  • •BS/BA (or equivalent) in an IT-related discipline.
  • •10+ years of relevant IT experience with significant leadership responsibility in large, complex enterprise environments.
  • •Broad infrastructure and cloud experience across compute, operating systems, virtualization, storage, backup, databases, networking, and application hosting (IaaS/PaaS), including AWS and/or Azure.
  • •Experience establishing technical direction, resolving cross-team dependencies, managing competing priorities, and maintaining accountability for service delivery.
  • •Proven people management experience leading technical managers or Team Leads.
