Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate KG lessons aligned with the KG curriculum.
  • •Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment conducive to learning and exploration.
  • •Implement a strong phonics-based literacy program, focusing on letter sounds, digraphs, trigraphs, CVC words, sight words, and early reading skills.
  • •Develop and implement activities that promote early numeracy, scientific inquiry, creativity, and gross/fine motor skills.
  • •Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities; collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and school-wide initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in the Arts/ Science Subjects with a certified teaching qualification such as B.Ed.
  • •Minimum of 2-3 years of KG experience
  • •UK-enhanced DBS or equivalent police check (pre-requisite)
  • •Proven ability to plan, deliver engaging lessons aligned with KG curriculum and phonics instruction
  • •Proficiency in using technology for teaching (interactive whiteboards, educational apps)
