Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and improve mechanical components, assemblies, and devices based on technical requirements, including material selection for metal and plastic parts.
  • •Prepare parts lists, assembly drawings, checklists, and technical documentation.
  • •Order and prepare samples and prototypes, and support sustaining activities with engineering technical documentation.
  • •Contribute to maintaining conformity to applicable standards for dedicated products and implement product optimizations (manufacturing improvements and cost-outs).
  • •Drive technical cost-saving initiatives and provide technical input to customer documentation, including environmental/ecological considerations (RoHS/REACH) during development.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor degree or technical college qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.
  • •Practical experience in mechanical design, product engineering, or development of electromechanical products such as circuit breakers, motorstarters, and contactors.
  • •Knowledge of mechanical and electromechanical design principles and structured product development methods (including design quality principles).
  • •Experience with 3D CAD and drawing creation (Creo Modeling, Siemens NX or comparable preferred).
  • •Ability to interpret technical requirements, standards, test results, and product compliance needs, with strong analytical/problem-solving and organization skills.
