Key Responsibilities

  • •Evaluate, select, and order equipment that is most appropriate and cost effective for manufacturing company products.
  • •Oversee installation, modification, upgrade, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
  • •Track equipment manufacturers’ technical notices, upgrades, and safety issues.
  • •Study equipment performance and reliability to address equipment problems affecting manufacturing.
  • •Define and write preventative maintenance schedules and provide technical support to equipment repair and process engineering teams.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Physics, or a related engineering field.
  • •Cumulative 3.0/4.0 GPA (or higher).
  • •Knowledge of AMAT PVD and/or AMAT TxZ chambers equipment.
  • •Knowledge of PVD, CVD, high vacuum and/or ultra high vacuum.
  • •Understanding of tool monitoring and interdiction software, and equipment maintenance and documentation.
