Key Responsibilities

  • •Advise senior HR leaders and executive business stakeholders on complex and high-impact employment matters.
  • •Provide employment law counseling across HR issues including investigations, leaves of absence and accommodations, performance management, discipline, terminations, wage and hour, hiring, and workforce restructuring.
  • •Manage and resolve employment disputes through negotiation and other mechanisms, including representing the company before administrative agencies and managing outside counsel.
  • •Assess compliance requirements and legal risk under federal, state, and local employment laws, monitoring legal developments and advising HR on new requirements.
  • •Partner with international HR professionals and local counsel globally and develop and update HR policies and training.

Salary: USD 177,600 - 244,200 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an ABA accredited law school and admission to at least one U.S. state bar required.
  • •8+ years of experience advising employers on complex employment law matters in a law firm and/or in-house environment.
  • •Experience balancing business needs with potential compliance risks and providing practical, proactive legal judgment.
  • •Experience collaborating and influencing business leaders across a broad range of initiatives.
  • •Excellent written and oral communication skills, with professionalism and integrity for handling sensitive, confidential personnel issues.
