Job Summary

Design, build, and operate the enterprise data platform that powers modern analytics and advanced reporting. Build scalable ELT/ETL pipelines with BigQuery, Databricks, Spark, Airflow/Google Composer, and Dataflow, and lead analytical data model development. Integrate SAP sources, optimize Vertex AI/ML pipeline performance, enforce data quality and governance, and support complex query tuning and schema refinement.

Key Responsibilities

•Work with business customers and data analysts to define requirements and translate them into logical and physical models.
•Design and build scalable ELT/ETL pipelines using BigQuery, Databricks, Spark, Airflow/Google Composer, and Dataflow.
•Lead development of analytical data models using Databricks and Google BigQuery.
•Integrate SAP data sources (SAP HANA and S/4HANA) and build pipelines for SAP and non-SAP sources into BigQuery.
•Enforce data quality, reliability, and governance; perform data profiling and support query tuning and schema refinement.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline.
•At least 8 years of data engineering experience, primarily with Google BigQuery and intermediate skills in Databricks.
•Expertise writing, analyzing, and tuning complex SQL queries.
•Extensive hands-on experience with Python and GCP services including BigQuery, Google Airflow, Dataflow, and Databricks.
•Experience with Dimensional Modeling and ER-Modeling.
