Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan and design civil infrastructure for roads/transport and stormwater drainage assets, as well as earthworks and related services/utilities.
  • •Write technical and non-technical reports tailored to diverse audiences using clear, accessible language.
  • •Collaborate with a high-performing team of engineers, designers, and drafters to deliver projects across development and infrastructure.
  • •Use relevant design standards and practices to support civil engineering solutions.
  • •Support project delivery across design-only and design-and-construct models, including commercial/contractual project management.

Key Requirements

  • •2 to 8 years’ experience in civil engineering; more experienced candidates are encouraged for Senior Civil Engineer roles.
  • •Bachelor of Engineering (or equivalent).
  • •Ability to plan and design civil infrastructure, including roads & transport and stormwater assets (quantity/quality).
  • •Experience using civil infrastructure design standards and practices (e.g., QUDM, Austroads, and relevant local council design guidelines).
  • •Demonstrated capability in detailed design and assessment using tools such as 12d Drainage Network Editor, DRAINS, and/or MUSIC, where relevant.
