Job Summary

Manage Global Supply Chain Management activities for the Naval Power mission area, supporting the Naval Standard Missile Systems (NSMS) development portfolio. Serve as the interface between Supply Chain and Program on development contracts by driving material strategy and material forecasting, ensuring cost and schedule requirements are met, and monitoring GSCM health through supplier assessments and ROM/proposal support.

Key Responsibilities

•Drive processes to successful completion to support an aggressive delivery schedule.
•Develop and implement material strategies and material forecasting for the portfolio.
•Ensure cost and schedule requirements are met and evaluate metrics to monitor GSCM health.
•Conduct supplier assessments and support ROMs/proposals for development and support contracts.
•Manage multiple conflicting priorities with supplier managers in a cross-functional environment.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience with 8+ years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with 5+ years of relevant experience.

•Lead program management efforts, address issues, and resolve conflicts.
•Financial knowledge and experience with supplier negotiations and cost reduction execution.
