Key Responsibilities

  • •Follow industrial safety procedures and best practices.
  • •Fabricate, install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair industrial piping systems and mechanical equipment throughout the facility.
  • •Work from engineering drawings, blueprints, and schematics with minimal supervision and specify/select materials for piping, plumbing, and mechanical installations.
  • •Perform welding and repair pressure piping and related components, using electric, TIG, MIG, and acetylene welding.
  • •Support and maintain plant utility and process systems (compressed air, plant fire protection, effluent, well water, steam trap systems, automatic valves, and SRVs) and participate in overtime/emergency call-ins and rotating shift coverage as required.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum of five (5) years of related industrial pipe fitting and/or welding experience or equivalent technical training and experience.
  • •Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and piping layouts and work from engineering drawings, blueprints, and schematics with minimal supervision.
  • •Proficiency in industrial piping fabrication and installation and demonstrated quality workmanship with strong attention to detail.
  • •Welding certifications and demonstrated proficiency in applicable welding procedures (Electric, TIG, MIG, Acetylene).
  • •Strong troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude with a good attendance and strong safety record.
