Key Responsibilities

  • •Supervise directly at site all requested cementing-related jobs, ensuring work is completed within recommended specifications, procedures and policies.
  • •Oversee cementing jobs at the rigs, including casing cementation, liner cementation, stage cementation, acid jobs, squeeze jobs, plug jobs, retainer jobs, and pressure testing up to specified limits.
  • •Coordinate with ONGC and base engineers for successful cementation job execution and provide technical support for cementing, pressure testing, and cementing unit operations.
  • •Support daily field operations by attending morning/evening meetings in the LM Cementing office (when field engineer duties apply) and coordinating with ONGC Field Manager.
  • •Coordinate with cementing operators before and after cement jobs and carry out connected activities in accordance with offshore standards.

Key Requirements

  • •Supervise cementing and stimulation job planning and execution on offshore rigs, with at least five years of experience after a Bachelor’s degree or ten years after a Diploma.
  • •Plan and supervise primary cementation for at least three offshore U-HPHT wells with BHST above 300°F.
  • •Perform cementing services independently for at least five (5) years, including at least two years in offshore areas.
  • •Coordinate with ONGC and base engineer to ensure cementation jobs are carried out within recommended specifications, procedures and policies.
  • •Maintain readiness for vigorous operational and maintenance work of the cementing unit and meet stated health/age expectations.
