Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead all aspects of and runs the end-to-end payroll process, including collecting timesheets, verifying data, and ensuring timely and accurate payroll submissions.
  • •Assist in recruitment processes, including posting job openings, reviewing resumes, conducting initial candidate screenings, and scheduling interviews.
  • •Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the Workday system and assist with onboarding, including offers, benefits enrollment, and policy introductions.
  • •Ensure adherence to policies and legal requirements related to payroll and HR processes, and assist with audits and regulatory reporting.
  • •Provide general HR support for employee relations and training coordination, and assist with employee engagement and wellness programs.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
  • •Demonstrable experience in HR coordination with a focus on payroll processing (1-2 years minimum)
  • •Minimum 1 year working in a Union Environment
  • •Knowledge of payroll systems and related legislation (e.g., FLSA, tax withholding, benefits)
  • •Proficiency with HRIS and payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex, Dayforce) or similar systems
