Key Responsibilities

  • •Define the technical vision, architecture, and roadmap for embedded firmware and software validation across product programs.
  • •Design and scale SIL/HIL validation infrastructure for automated system-level testing, regression coverage, release readiness, and issue reproduction.
  • •Build and evolve validation frameworks to improve test coverage, execution speed, reliability, traceability, and quality reporting.
  • •Establish validation metrics and lead end-to-end validation planning for new features, firmware releases, connectivity workflows, and system-level behavior.
  • •Lead root-cause analysis for complex system issues across hardware, firmware, software, connectivity, and validation infrastructure; mentor engineers in validation strategy and debugging.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • •10+ years of experience in software quality engineering and embedded systems testing, including technical leadership scaling validation frameworks.
  • •Track record leading validation strategy or test architecture for complex embedded/connected/automotive or software-defined vehicle platforms.
  • •Hands-on experience testing RTOS-based or Linux-based embedded systems and building/scaling automated validation frameworks for firmware and HIL.
  • •Strong programming and scripting skills, especially Python, with automation frameworks such as Robot Framework or Pytest.
