Job Summary

Lead ESH/HSE compliance for environmental, safety, and health activities supporting Arnold Air Force Base. Oversee hazardous material and waste management, pollution prevention, industrial hygiene, natural resources, and environmental restoration. Interpret contract requirements and the PWS, manage Environmental Baseline Surveys and inspections, ensure regulatory reporting accuracy, and run branch self-inspections and government audits. Serve as the Environmental Professional lead and supervise branch personnel, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide leadership, supervision, and direction for environmental compliance, pollution prevention, hazardous material and hazardous waste management, natural resources, ground safety, and industrial hygiene programs.
•Assign work, establish priorities, and monitor daily operations to ensure timely completion of contractual requirements.
•Interpret contract requirements and the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and develop procedures, schedules, and training plans to meet contract performance standards.
•Conduct and oversee Environmental Baseline Surveys/Environmental Inspections and ensure environmental assessments and regulatory documentation are completed accurately and on schedule.
•Oversee branch self-inspection and government inspections/audits, resolve deficiencies, and supervise personnel including recruiting, onboarding, training, mentoring, and performance evaluations.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 78,075 - 132,766 annually

Key Requirements

•Must be a U.S. Citizen.
•Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
•Must have a current Professional Engineer or Professional Geologist license, or equivalent experience/education/licensing to meet specified qualification paths for environmental inquiries.
•Demonstrated ability to interpret and implement Performance Work Statement (PWS) requirements and contractual deliverables.
•Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
