Job Summary

Design, standardize, and govern secure, scalable Azure networking across Canada. Lead architectural reviews and sign-offs using Zero Trust principles, and build reusable network reference architectures. Develop Infrastructure-as-Code for network provisioning, integrate it into CI/CD, and implement telemetry and compliance controls using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics. Architect hub-spoke and Virtual WAN patterns, troubleshoot hybrid networking issues, and mentor engineers while supporting incident readiness and resiliency testing.

Key Responsibilities

•Define, document, and govern Azure networking reference architectures, standards, guardrails, and reusable patterns.
•Provide architectural review and formal sign-off on Azure network designs to ensure consistency, scalability, resiliency, and security alignment.
•Develop Infrastructure-as-Code for cloud network provisioning and build reusable modules for scalable, self-service networking.
•Integrate network provisioning into CI/CD workflows with state management, drift detection, and automated validation.
•Implement monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and security telemetry; support incident response, runbooks, and change/release coordination.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 122,100 - 179,100 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
•8–10+ years of hands-on network engineering and architecture experience.
•Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure networking (segmentation, routing, DNS, private access, network security).
•Expert-level knowledge of BGP, OSPF, DNS, DHCP, SD-WAN, VPN/IPSec, IPv4/IPv6, and enterprise-scale troubleshooting.
•Strong proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code and automated network deployment pipelines with DevOps/CI/CD best practices.
