Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, build, and evolve enterprise DNS architecture covering authoritative/recursive DNS, forwarding, delegation, and service integrations.
  • •Modernize DNS platform operations via improved provisioning, configuration management, validation, monitoring, and recovery using automation and IaC.
  • •Strengthen DNS reliability, performance, security, and maintainability for critical services at scale.
  • •Provide global Tier 3 troubleshooting for complex DNS resolution behavior, zone design, DNSSEC, caching, delegation models, and integration dependencies.
  • •Collaborate with software, network, cloud, and security teams to deliver resilient DNS solutions for new services and platform changes.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s (6+ years) or Master’s (4+ years) in software development, systems engineering, or cloud/platform engineering.
  • •Experience designing, implementing, or operating DNS services (authoritative/recursive, delegation, forwarding, caching, DNS record behavior).
  • •Experience automating infrastructure using Python and tools such as Ansible and Terraform (or equivalent IaC).
  • •Experience administering Linux environments and diagnosing issues across DNS, networking, and distributed systems.
  • •Ability to use AI-assisted tools to automate tasks and improve troubleshooting and engineering workflows.
