Job Summary

Design, code, test, deploy, and operate end-to-end market-making algorithms for a multi-asset, multi-venue digital asset trading book. You’ll handle pricing, quoting, hedging logic, inventory management, execution, and live trading interventions under stressful conditions. Build and maintain backtesting and live-vs-backtest reconciliation, monitor P&L/risk/venue exposures, and work with market-data infrastructure (WebSockets, REST, FIX) while following strong operational security.

Key Responsibilities

•Design, build, and maintain market-making algorithm architecture end to end, including pricing, quoting, hedging, inventory management, and execution logic.
•Independently code, test, and deploy trading algorithms without relying on a dedicated developer.
•Run live trading, including manual position management, hedging, risk control, and manual intervention when required.
•Build and maintain backtesting frameworks, out-of-sample validation, live-vs-backtest reconciliation, and production monitoring.
•Support the live algorithm stack by diagnosing and resolving production issues, monitoring P&L/drawdown/exposure/leverage limits, and following operational security practices.

Key Requirements

•Strong hands-on experience in market making and/or algorithmic trading, including quoting, inventory skew, spread management, and hedging logic.
•Experience working with a live trading book, including P&L, inventory, and risk ownership, plus ability to intervene manually under stressful market conditions.
•Ability to independently design, code, test, and deploy trading algorithms in a 24/7 production environment.
•Strong programming skills with Rust highly preferred; C++ and Python also important, plus good knowledge of SQL and the Linux command line.
•Strong understanding of probability/statistics and risk-adjusted performance (e.g., Sharpe, drawdown, attribution) with security awareness for keys/credentials/API permissions.
