Job Summary

Senior engineer to own and maintain HD maps infrastructure, enabling localization, data queries across global maps, and visualization. You will define map storage formats, collaborate with engineers and customers, and help shape the future of maps across multiple products, working with C++/Python and contributing to SDKs, data pipelines, and UI data flows.

Key Responsibilities

•Own our maps infrastructure across all of our products
•Define our map storage format to handle more features and distribute map data focusing on UIs, data pipelines and storage, and SDKs
•Collaborate with engineers and customers on existing and future designs and features
•Build and maintain software components addressing real-world mapping and localization challenges
•Contribute to future development of HD maps and related tooling

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 153,000 - 222,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Experience building software components or (sub) systems that address real-world mapping and localization challenges
•2+ years of experience developing in C++ or Python
•Must have strong software engineering fundamentals and ability to own and maintain maps infrastructure

•Nice to have experience with autonomous vehicles or simulation products
