Key Responsibilities

  • •Architect and build user-facing features across DeepL’s identity stack from problem definition through deployment and production reliability.
  • •Own identity services end-to-end, including production operations, incident response, and on-call, with a focus on four-nines reliability.
  • •Continuously improve code quality and operational health through comprehensive testing and production monitoring.
  • •Collaborate with engineers across Identity and adjacent teams (including Product Management and Support) to scope, shape, and solve technical product challenges.
  • •Choose appropriate technologies (core stack or new tools) to solve customer problems with long-term maintainability, leveraging AI tools for boilerplate, tests, and debugging.
