Key Responsibilities

  • •Practice safe job practices while repairing equipment.
  • •Use technology to create, assign, and monitor work orders; track service intervals; order parts; diagnose issues by pulling data from many makes and models.
  • •Troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop and at customer locations, and complete the required repairs.
  • •Travel to customer job sites when required to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment such as generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and oil-free air compressors.
  • •Maintain complete daily documentation (work orders) electronically/in writing and assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts.

Key Requirements

  • •Must own tools applicable to the position.
  • •Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools.
  • •Experience working on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
  • •Experience calculating nominal/tonnage or kW requirements and reading/understanding schematics.
  • •EPA 608 certification is preferred; ability to obtain within 6–12 months if not already certified.
