Key Responsibilities

  • •Gather technical requirements, support client meetings, and implement new SmartPlant Electrical environments aligned to project scope.
  • •Set up projects per company and client requirements.
  • •Perform SmartPlant Electrical Administration (plant breakdown structure, access rights, naming conventions, symbology, filters, reports, and system maintenance).
  • •Create and maintain an Oracle database instance and manage the SmartPlant Electrical database for backups, imports, data integrity, and report customization.
  • •Troubleshoot SmartPlant Electrical issues, develop user work instructions, and customize deliverables (Excel reports, revision-control publications, symbols), plus provide project administrative support (upgrades, interfaces, replication, backups, documentation, and automation enhancements).

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in engineering or diploma in engineering.
  • •Strong understanding of SP Electrical and intelligent 2D electrical applications, engineering design, and drafting applications.
  • •6-10 years in SP Electrical Administration covering SPEL Administration and user support.
  • •Experience administering medium to large projects (10 to 20+ users) executed using the SP Electrical Application.
  • •Knowledge of SQL (asset) and of AVEVA Electrical, ETAP, and Comos (asset), plus the ability to conduct training sessions to new users.
