Job Summary

Apply and support IT Pillar (IT) processes for SmartPlant Electrical by implementing new SmartPlant Electrical environments and handling project setup. Administer SmartPlant Electrical (plant breakdown structure, access rights, naming conventions, symbology, filters, reports, and system maintenance), create and maintain an Oracle database instance, and troubleshoot issues to protect project integrity and user support. Create work instructions, customize deliverables (Excel reports, symbols), and support upgrades, interfaces, backups, replication, and automation enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

•Gather technical requirements, support client meetings, and implement new SmartPlant Electrical environments aligned to project scope.
•Set up projects per company and client requirements.
•Perform SmartPlant Electrical Administration (plant breakdown structure, access rights, naming conventions, symbology, filters, reports, and system maintenance).
•Create and maintain an Oracle database instance and manage the SmartPlant Electrical database for backups, imports, data integrity, and report customization.
•Troubleshoot SmartPlant Electrical issues, develop user work instructions, and customize deliverables (Excel reports, revision-control publications, symbols), plus provide project administrative support (upgrades, interfaces, replication, backups, documentation, and automation enhancements).

Key Requirements

•Degree in engineering or diploma in engineering.
•Strong understanding of SP Electrical and intelligent 2D electrical applications, engineering design, and drafting applications.
•6-10 years in SP Electrical Administration covering SPEL Administration and user support.
•Experience administering medium to large projects (10 to 20+ users) executed using the SP Electrical Application.
•Knowledge of SQL (asset) and of AVEVA Electrical, ETAP, and Comos (asset), plus the ability to conduct training sessions to new users.
