Job Summary

Develop, maintain, and control integrated baseline and detailed project schedules across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning. Build work breakdown structures and master schedules, monitor progress versus baselines, and analyse critical paths, float, variances, and forecasts. Prepare schedule narratives, look-ahead plans, S-curves, dashboards, earned-value metrics, and progress reports. Support tender programmes, change control, delay analysis, and extension-of-time reporting for complex energy projects.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop, maintain, and update integrated baseline and detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and, where required, Microsoft Project.
•Create work breakdown structures, milestones, logic, calendars, resource loading, and cost loading aligned to contract and delivery requirements.
•Integrate engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and contractor programmes into a coherent master schedule.
•Monitor progress against approved baselines and analyse critical paths, float, variances, trends, and forecast completion dates.
•Prepare schedule narratives, look-ahead plans, S-curves, dashboards, earned-value metrics, and progress reports; identify schedule risks and support recovery planning and contractual reporting.

Key Requirements

•A relevant diploma or degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or a related discipline.
•At least five years’ project planning and scheduling experience within engineering, construction or major capital projects.
•Demonstrable experience in power generation, transmission, substations, renewable energy or related infrastructure.
•Advanced Primavera P6 proficiency; Microsoft Project and advanced Microsoft Excel capability will be advantageous.
•A sound understanding of EPC and multidisciplinary project lifecycles, including engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning.
