Key Responsibilities

  • •Guide strategic customers through the full lifecycle of Databricks on GCP, from initial architectural design to production deployment.
  • •Architect secure, scalable enterprise deployments addressing GCP networking (VPCs, Private Service Connect), identity (Google Cloud Identity/IAM), and security compliance standards.
  • •Serve as a subject matter expert across GCP infrastructure, cloud networking, and identity management.
  • •Partner with Solutions Architects during complex technical sales cycles by building custom proof-of-concept (PoC) architectures and technical content on GCP.
  • •Support platform adoption through tutorials, hackathons, conference speaking, and contributions to the Databricks open-source community.

Salary: USD 219,100 - 301,300 annually

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of hands-on experience in a technical role with deep expertise in GCP, including cloud security, networking best practices, and enterprise data platform design.
  • •5+ years of professional experience with distributed architectures and big data technologies such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, and Kafka.
  • •5+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role (pre-sales, post-sales, or consulting).
  • •Specialized expertise in at least one domain: GCP security & identity, GCP networking & deployments, or platform administration (HA/DR, orchestration, observability, cost management).
  • •Hands-on infrastructure automation skills using IaC tools such as Terraform or Deployment Manager, plus strong proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala and SQL.
