Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, develop, and deliver technical training for natural gas distribution and transmission operations, maintenance, construction, and emergency response.
  • •Create and maintain training materials including lesson plans, presentations, assessments, hands-on exercises, and simulations.
  • •Deliver classroom, field-based, virtual, and blended learning programs for employees and contractors.
  • •Assess training effectiveness and improve programs using feedback, field observations, on-the-job coaching, mentoring, and performance trends.
  • •Partner with Gas Operations, Engineering, Safety, and management teams, including monitoring workforce adherence to operating procedures, safety requirements, and conducting follow-up evaluations.

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years of experience in the natural gas industry or other relevant technical trade.
  • •Associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering, instructional design, or a related field.
  • •Technical knowledge of natural gas properties, pipeline construction and maintenance, and gas safety regulations (including 49 CFR Parts 191, 192, and 193 and MA 220 CMR).
  • •Ability to design and conduct effective training programs, including instructional design and managing the learning environment.
  • •2+ years of demonstrated prior training experience, including the ability to obtain Operator Qualification tasks.
