Job Summary

Own IT Asset Management and Configuration Management/CMDB standards, ensuring accurate control and recording of asset and service changes. Drive Software Asset Management compliance for legal licensing obligations, cost optimisation, and support software contract negotiations. Operate and develop the ServiceNow platform (especially ITSM and CMDB) to meet ITIL process owner requirements. Lead up to four direct reports, collaborate with T&T, Procurement, and Legal, manage budgets and vendor relationships, and continuously improve processes and tools.

Key Responsibilities

•Set, maintain, and assure adherence to Partnership Asset Management policies, procedures, and standards across new and changed services.
•Take accountability for Configuration and Asset Management standards, ensuring the CMDB supports ITIL processes via the operational SIAM partner.
•Provide assurance of compliance with software licensing obligations, optimise spend, and support software contract negotiations and disputes.
•Assure hardware asset control across the lifecycle and ensure effective methods and processes through the operational SIAM partner.
•Operate and develop the ServiceNow platform (including ITSM and CMDB) and lead up to four direct reports, managing budgets and improving tools and processes.

Travel: Low travel

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 75,600 - 140,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Significant experience in IT Asset Management (ITAM).
•Deep knowledge of software licensing models, particularly for major vendors such as Oracle, IBM, Microsoft, Salesforce, and Workday.
•Practical experience managing hardware asset lifecycles and owning Configuration Management/CMDB processes.
•Strong stakeholder and vendor management skills to influence senior leadership.
•Proven track record transforming business processes with clear business impact, with high accountability and integrity.
