Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate a tow truck to provide tow service for customer vehicles on the SAAA parking lot and in different locations as needed.
  • •Use a front-end loader to load/unload vehicles and move them within the lot, including for auction shops.
  • •Affix and secure the tow truck/loader to vehicles safely, then release vehicles so they are left immobile and undamaged.
  • •Haul vehicles to directed areas, scan each towed vehicle using the TC75, and run reports to move vehicles into the sale TRA area.
  • •Perform routine maintenance checks on the tow truck and front-end loader and assist with tasks like jump-starting/unlocking vehicles as requested.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma/GED plus 5 years of related work experience, or any degree/certification above plus 3 years, or 7 years related experience.
  • •Valid driver’s license and completion of the DOT Driver Qualification file; pre-hire physical required for DOT medical card.
  • •1-3 years of experience driving a service/tow truck or operating a front-end loader.
  • •Completion of DOT Driver Qualification file and, dependent on the role, a possible 5-panel drug test.
  • •Adhere to Vehicle Use Policy and meet safety commitment and health/safety procedures.
