Key Responsibilities

•Operate plant machinery as directed while adhering to safety policies and procedures.
•Read job specifications, set machine adjustments, and configure stops/guides to specified lengths.
•Observe machine operation to detect product defects or machine malfunctions.
•Review finished product for inconsistencies/abnormal appearance to meet quality requirements.
•Perform routine maintenance and repairs and maintain clean housekeeping in the assigned area.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma/equivalent, or at least 1 month of related trades experience (or equivalent education and experience).
•Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating/maintenance instruction, and procedure manuals.
•Ability to perform basic math (add/subtract/multiply/divide) using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
•Ability to maintain accuracy and handle problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
•Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move up to 50 lbs; able to work a flexible schedule.
