Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of mass affluent clients, selling, delivering, and servicing a range of fee income and retail banking products.
  • •Establish and update understanding of client financial needs using profiling and personal financial planning analysis; work with financial advisors on investment account adherence to objectives and policies.
  • •Stay current on economic, legal, and investment trends; act as a personal financial planning/advisory resource for clients, attorneys, and CPAs.
  • •Meet revenue growth, profitability, and retention goals by acquiring new clients, expanding services, and marketing products; manage sales activity and pipeline in the bank’s contact management system.
  • •Coordinate with Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) partners and external centers of influence to provide integrated, compliant client service and support business development efforts.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in business, accounting, finance, banking, or equivalent financial services experience.
  • •Minimum five years of financial services experience with clients in banking, investments, and/or retail lending (or one year in a financial client relationship manager role).
  • •Advanced knowledge of personal financial planning/advisory, insurance, investment management, asset allocation, and retail credit/banking products for mass affluent clients.
  • •Active and maintained Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), FINRA Series 7 and 66 (or 63 and 65 in lieu of 66) plus applicable Insurance licenses (Life, Health, Variable); also SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act compliant with required NMLS background check.
  • •Strong interpersonal, sales, relationship management, and presentation skills, including proficiency with basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office.
