Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare Stage 1 Auxiliary System design solutions that align with specifications and quality/technical standards
  • •Support and participate in the Zonal Integration process ensuring 3D model design reflects design intent and complies with requirements
  • •Carry out specialist technical analyses and investigations, evaluate options, and prepare reports with recommendations
  • •Assist the Principal Engineer as the specialist point of contact with customers and/or suppliers on engineering matters
  • •Create Stage 1 design documentation including schematics, design calculations and technical specifications

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 49,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Academic qualification in a STEM subject, with the ability to become Incorporated or Chartered Engineer through a recognised professional institution
  • •Experience within an Engineering or Defence industry or similar
  • •Demonstrable knowledge and experience of fluid system design including flow modelling and flow calculations, and use of pipes and valves
  • •Experience with Water Systems (Chilled Water, Waste Management, Bilge, Sullage and Ballast, Scuppers and Drains, Air Escape) and/or Fuel Systems
  • •Ability to work in a collaborative, customer-facing environment and to contribute to Stage 1 design documentation including schematics, calculations and technical specifications
