Key Responsibilities

  • •Implement and enforce the site-specific Safety Plan in accordance with OSHA, EM 385-1-1, and Army regulations, including routine site inspections to identify hazards.
  • •Ensure proper handling and storage of hazardous materials (HAZMAT) in compliance with EPA and Army guidelines.
  • •Conduct safety orientations and recurring training for personnel, maintain safety training records, and support required PPE, forklift/equipment, LOTO, and incident reporting procedures.
  • •Lead investigations of accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions; maintain incident logs and OSHA reporting documentation; report findings to the Project Manager and COR.
  • •Perform safety audits and job hazard analyses (JHAs), track safety KPIs, prepare reports for internal and government oversight, and support government inspections and non-compliance responses.

Salary: USD 61,794 - 104,902 annually

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years of safety experience on government, military, or industrial logistics sites.
  • •Working knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1910, EM 385-1-1, DA PAM 385-10, and Army site safety practices.
  • •Conduct safety orientations and ensure training on PPE usage, forklift/equipment operation, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and incident reporting.
  • •Ability to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC), receive favorable background check, and pass drug testing.
  • •Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and basic English reading/writing; OSHA 30-Hour required.
