Job Summary

Lead and drive geotechnical projects, from pure geotechnical assignments to larger multidisciplinary efforts. Work according to WSP’s assignment process, including time, budget, and quality, while collaborating with geotechnical colleagues and specialists across areas such as roads, bridges, buildings, and environmental consulting. Support junior teammates and grow within a team of ~50, with strong knowledge sharing and coordination across Sweden and sometimes internationally.

Key Responsibilities

•Drive and lead geotechnical assignments, including both pure geotechnical projects and larger multidisciplinary projects.
•Operate within WSP’s assignment process, including responsibility for time, economy, and quality.
•Collaborate with geotechnical colleagues and related specialists across disciplines (e.g., roads, bridges, buildings, environmental consultants).
•Support and mentor junior colleagues, with guidance available from more senior colleagues.
•Contribute to business development through customer contact, with opportunities to work with sales and marketing.

Key Requirements

•At least 10 years of experience in geotechnics and ground engineering/foundations.
•Civil engineering degree (Civilingenjör) or a bachelor’s degree with a specialization in geotechnics, or equivalent education.
•Work structured, carefully, and quality-minded.
•Strong interest in problem-solving.
•Good collaboration skills and fluent communication in Swedish, orally and in writing.
