Key Responsibilities

•Own the infrastructure that keeps fleets running.
•Design, build, and maintain backend services for real-time vehicle tracking, route optimization, billing, and dispatch — systems haulers depend on from first route to last invoice.
•Build for reliability and scale; own the reliability and observability of the platform, including monitoring and on-call practices.
•Design data systems that handle complexity; model and evolve the Postgres schema, manage migrations, and build integrations with third-party systems.
•Shape backend architecture long-term and influence product decisions with the founding team.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 75,000 - 100,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Strong backend fundamentals and production experience with Node.js services, API design, and distributed systems tradeoffs
•Experience designing, building, and shipping backend services for real-time tracking, routing, billing, and dispatch
•Proficient in cloud infrastructure management (AWS or GCP) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
•Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (Terraform)
•Ownership mindset with ability to scope ambiguous problems and ship solutions independently
