Key Responsibilities

  • •Set and continuously improve Group H&S strategy, policies, standards, and minimum requirements aligned with local regulations and ISO 45001.
  • •Define Group vs. OpCo H&S roles and implement a governance and assurance framework to ensure consistent application.
  • •Oversee OpCo H&S performance through audits, assessments, independent reviews, KPIs, leading/lagging indicators, and dashboards.
  • •Manage critical risk and incident processes, including reporting, investigations, root cause analysis, learning, and systemic corrective actions.
  • •Build H&S capability and maturity across the Group through leadership engagement, training frameworks, guidance, and best-practice sharing.

Key Requirements

  • •Develop and continuously improve the Group H&S strategy, policies, standards, and minimum requirements aligned with local regulations and best practice.
  • •Establish clear H&S roles, responsibilities, and accountabilities between Group and OpCos with a robust governance and assurance framework.
  • •Provide oversight of OpCo H&S performance using audits, assessments, independent reviews, KPIs, leading/lagging indicators, dashboards, and reporting.
  • •Lead serious incident governance, including incident reporting, investigations, root cause analysis, learning, and systemic corrective actions.
  • •Embed H&S into leadership and business decision-making, including risk management, capital planning, ESG reporting, and enterprise risk management.
