Key Responsibilities

•Lead the delivery of hydrology and hydraulic modelling projects for stormwater and water resources.
•Provide high-quality stormwater models and technical advisory work for external and internal clients.
•Contribute to transformational projects including flood risk management and major infrastructure upgrades.
•Predict flood risk and support delivery of critical infrastructure for communities in Auckland and across New Zealand.
•Engage with clients and collaborate with the water team to ensure project success and quality deliverables.

Key Requirements

•A recognised tertiary qualification in civil or environmental engineering, science or equivalent.
•Working towards chartered status with a professional body; CPEng, CIWEM (or equivalent)
•Current clean Drivers Licence
•Minimum of 5 years’ professional experience as a stormwater/water resources engineer in the hydrology and hydraulic modelling and/or flood risk management context.
•Strong capability and experience in using InfoWorks ICM software, with other hydraulic modelling and GIS packages being of benefit – MIKE FLOOD, MIKE 11, WaterRide, HEC-RAS, TUFLOW, ArcGIS, QGIS.
