Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop, iterate, and maintain youth safety and wellbeing policies to ensure age-appropriate content on the platform.
  • •Ensure youth harm policies and standards are clear, enforceable, and consistent with international child protection frameworks and legal obligations.
  • •Support youth-specific approaches to feature and product policy, including account defaults, recommendations, parental controls, and interaction features.
  • •Engage external stakeholders to incorporate outside expertise into platform policies related to youth safety and wellbeing.
  • •Partner with Policy Enforcement, Operations, and Product to develop and improve human and AI-driven moderation systems.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of experience in Trust & Safety, Child Protection Policy, Public Policy, Law, Prevention Science, Social Work, or a related field focused on youth safety and wellbeing.
  • •Deep understanding of the harm landscape for youth online, including CSAM, harmful content, and developmental risks.
  • •Familiarity with the current and emerging online youth regulatory landscape and youth online safety regimes.
  • •Strong ability to synthesize complex child safety and wellbeing topics for internal and external audiences, including communicating trade-offs.
  • •Strong cross-functional collaboration experience with product, technical, legal, and operational teams.
