Key Responsibilities

  • •Collaborate with EMEA GTM leadership and account teams to design and drive the technical GTM and adoption strategy for large-scale EDW migrations.
  • •Architect and continuously refine programmatic, scalable migration processes and technical guides for field teams and partners.
  • •Build and direct automated assessment tooling based on customer engagements.
  • •Serve as the tier-3 technical escalation point for highly complex, strategic, or stalled migrations in must-win accounts.
  • •Scale the presales migration practice by mentoring and coaching the EMEA community of Solutions Architects and Specialist SAs, and provide technical feedback to Product and Engineering.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years customer-facing experience in pre-sales, architecture, or consulting roles influencing technical executives and driving enterprise database modernization strategy.
  • •Strong understanding of legacy data warehouse and modernization architectures (e.g., Teradata, Netezza, Snowflake, Synapse, Redshift, Exadata) to transition workloads to the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.
  • •Ability to architect migration scope and progression from EDW to the full capabilities of the Data Intelligence Platform.
  • •Hands-on Lakehouse expertise including Apache Spark, Python, and SQL.
  • •Hands-on experience designing and implementing big data architectures in major public clouds (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
