Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, deploy, and operate on-premise infrastructure and hybrid integrations, including OpenStack and bare metal.
  • •Manage container platforms (Kubernetes, OpenShift, Rancher), owning cluster lifecycle and day-to-day platform health for high availability services.
  • •Build and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines with automated testing, security scans, and policy gates (canary/blue-green/feature flags) and standardize deployment templates.
  • •Define observability strategy (metrics, distributed tracing, logs, synthetic checks), set SLIs/SLOs and dashboards, and lead incident response including runbooks, escalations, and postmortems.
  • •Own infrastructure automation via Terraform and Ansible and operational scripting (Python, Bash) for repeatable provisioning, self-healing, and reduced manual toil.

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years in DevOps, infrastructure, platform engineering, or SRE, including at least 2 years in a leadership capacity.
  • •Strong experience managing on-premise or hybrid environments, especially OpenStack-based infrastructure.
  • •Deep expertise in container orchestration technologies including Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Rancher.
  • •Proven experience with infrastructure-as-code and automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
  • •Hands-on observability and reliability experience using tools like New Relic, Prometheus, Grafana (and ELK or similar).
