Key Responsibilities

  • •Remove all gating and sprue from castings using a hammer, press, or wedger without marking the castings.
  • •Sort large quantity scrap castings and notify the supervisor.
  • •Ensure all castings are removed from the sorting conveyor line to the proper tubs or conveyors.
  • •Operate Clearning Press and small punch press to remove sprue without marking castings.
  • •Operate cut off saw, hydraulic wedger, small cleaning machine, and sweeper to clean shop floors.
