Key Responsibilities

  • •Execute daily truck shipments using relevant systems/technology to meet delivery expectations
  • •Identify opportunities to improve truck/driver utilization and create cost savings across private fleet and third-party carriers
  • •Use real-time shipment track/trace systems to provide ETAs to customer service, sales, and customers
  • •Coordinate truck loading and unloading schedules and perform routine logistical reporting (value achieved, load updates, emails, customer service)
  • •Identify and resolve service level issues using root cause analysis and corrective actions; communicate and escalate shipment issues impacting plant operations or customer delivery expectations
