Job Summary

Join Allianz’s Cyber Defense Center to bring machine learning into detection workflows. Design, train, and deploy ML models for threat detection, build AI-powered detection pipelines, and translate model outputs into actionable logic for SOC analysts. Collaborate with detection engineers, threat hunters, and CTI while managing model drift, data bias, and adversarial risks in production.

Key Responsibilities

•Design, train, and deploy ML models for threat detection across EDR and SIEM telemetry.
•Build and maintain AI-powered detection pipelines that learn and adapt to new threats.
•Partner with Detection Engineers to translate model outputs into actionable detection logic for analysts.
•Engineer features and curate training data from CrowdStrike Falcon and Google SecOps, ensuring labeling integrity and statistical relevance.
•Monitor and mitigate AI-specific risks such as model drift, data bias, and adversarial inputs.

Key Requirements

•3+ years of hands-on experience applying machine learning to cybersecurity, fraud detection, or large-scale anomaly detection problems.
•Strong Python skills and practical experience with ML frameworks (scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or XGBoost).
•Working knowledge of security telemetry — EDR (CrowdStrike Falcon), SIEM (Google SecOps/ Chronicle).
•Solid foundation in feature engineering, model evaluation, and handling class imbalance in threat detection.
•Familiarity with MLOps practices: model versioning, monitoring, retraining workflows (MLflow, Vertex AI or equivalent).
