Job Summary

Lead the West Coast Studio Operations HR team as a strategic HR partner to managers and employees. Own employee relations for represented and non-represented staff, interpret and implement HR policies, and drive core HR cycles including performance management, compensation planning, engagement, and development. Partner with leadership to design action plans using data and insights, and collaborate with talent acquisition to create recruitment strategies that build a diverse, high-performing workforce.

•Serve as an HR business partner and independently manage employee relations issues for represented and non-represented employees.
•Interpret and implement HR policies, practices, and procedures across all employee levels.
•Provide day-to-day HR support, coaching leaders on people and performance matters, and ensure alignment across teams.
•Partner with leadership to design and implement action plans addressing performance, culture, and operational challenges using data and insights.
•Drive strategic HR projects, oversee core HR cycles (performance, compensation, engagement, development), and partner with talent acquisition on recruitment strategies.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 95,000 - 110,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Labor Relations, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
•5+ years of relevant professional-level HR experience, with union experience a plus.
•2+ years conducting complex employee relations investigations.
•Demonstrated ability to manage through competing priorities in a matrixed environment.
•Strong written and verbal communication skills, trusted counseling, and coaching mindset.
